SiriusXM with its 360L hybrid platform will be standard in new Mini models sold in the United States.
“While SiriusXM first expanded across Mini’s full lineup in 2022,” the companies said in their announcement, “SiriusXM with 360L’s expanded content and personalization offering will now be available in all Mini vehicles, including the new Mini Countryman S ALL4, Mini JCW Countryman ALL4 and Mini Cooper S two-door arriving at dealers this month.”
The rest of the Mini line will include SiriusXM with 360L in coming months.
The 360L hybrid radio platform combines satellite with streaming content delivery including personalization and on-demand features.
The companies called attention to Mini’s OLED Samsung screen, a round display almost 10 inches across, and its Android-enabled operating system.
Mini customers purchasing or leasing a SiriusXM-equipped vehicle in the United States will receive a 12-month trial subscription. Mini is a brand of the BMW Group; in the United States, Mini USA operates as a business unit of BMW of North America.
