Giving new meaning to the phrase “Fire Sale,” Burk Technology has put its AFD-1 arc and flame detection module on sale.
Regularly priced at $459, this past winner of the Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award is priced at $299 until Jan. 31, 2011.
The AFD-1 can detect an arc or flame at 15 feet, line of sight, in such environments as a transmitter site, antenna tuning unit and switchers.
It works with Burk’s remote control systems, e.g. the ARC Plus or GSC3000 as well as many third-party remote systems.
