The FCC has raised more than $14.8 million in the first stage of bidding for FM licenses. Some 288 frequencies are available, mostly in small and middle-size markets. More than 1,400 bids had been placed so far and 456 bidders remained. The highest bid we’ve seen so far has been $513,000 from Family Stations Inc.
