The commission is opening a filing window for applications for CPs for new noncom educational FMs and major mod CPs.
The window is associated with the commission’s tentative determinations for 76 groups of cut-off and mutually exclusive new station and major modification proposals. The filing window is Oct. 12-19.
About 180 reserved-band new applications or major proposals for which the commission has not provided an opportunity to file competing applications are pending; these were filed before the FCC imposed a filing freeze in 2000.
