Music journalist Ben Fong-Torres will host “Backstage” for CBS Radio’s KFRC(FM).
The station says the weekly program “dives deep” into the rock and roll history of the Bay Area on Sundays from 7–9 a.m. and online at www.kfrc.com.
The radio host and San Francisco Chronicle columnist plays music and shares anecdotes from his past, which includes his days as a lead editor/writer for Rolling Stone magazine and his experiences writing books about The Doors, Motown Records and top 40 radio.
Fong-Torres also features rarities from his own music library, along with excerpts from interviews he has conducted.
