If you’re working on an application for the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation’s Broadcast Leadership Training program, you have until the end of this month to turn it in.
Deadline is May 31 for the 2014 class of NABEF’s executive MBA-style program, which instructs advanced broadcasters on how to own and operate radio and television stations or move into more senior positions within the industry.
Instructors include senior-level broadcast management, FCC staff, communications attorneys, Wall Street investors as well as university faculty.
Once the 2013 class graduates in June, the BLT program will have 220 alumni, more than 50 percent of whom have been promoted one or more times, according to foundation data.
The program costs about $9,000. Training starts in September, with meetings one weekend a month for 10 months (until June next year). The foundation said women and people of color especially are encouraged to apply and will find fellowship opportunities.
