Clear Channel New Orleans VP/Market Manager Muriel Funches says four of the company’s seven stations in New Orleans have returned to regular programming for the first time since Katrina hit, although they’ll still carry info related to the hurricane recovery as well.
The stations – FMs WQUE, WNOE, WRNO and WYLD – continue to originate programs from the United Radio New Orleans studios at Clear Channel in Baton Rouge.
Meantime, WYLD(AM), WODT(AM) and KHEV(FM) continue to air only United Radio New Orleans news and information programming. United Radio is the joint regional effort of Clear Channel and Entercom that was formed immediately after the storm.
