Friday Event Celebrates Expanded USO Facility

The family of Bob Hope will help rededicate the Bob Hope Hollywood USO at Los Angeles International Airport this Friday (Sept. 24).
Infinity’s KRTH(FM), K-EARTH 101, said its radiothons have helped raise $513,000 to increase the size of the facility to 4,800 square feet and add features such as a family room, nap room, lounge and Internet access.
The project is privately funded. The facilities, normally reserved for military personnel, will be open to the public for the event. The station’s Gary Bryan will broadcast his morning show from the USO on Friday.
