Rob Keegan has been promoted to general sales manager of WMGK(FM), Greater Media Philadelphia. He will begin his new position immediately, and in his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all local, national and digital sales efforts for the classic rock station.
Keegan most recently served as the local sales manager and has been with the station for almost five years. He previously led the nontraditional revenue department for Beasley Broadcast Group for two decades.
“Rob has done an outstanding job as the local sales manager for WMGK for nearly five years,” said Greater Media Philadelphia Vice President of Sales Paul Blake. “His collaborative leadership and innovative style has established the station as a top-tier sales organization.”
Outside of work, Keegan serves as president of the Hamels Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Cole Hamels, long-time pitcher for the Phillies (recently traded to the Texas Rangers), that provides support for education in the United States and in Malawi.
He is a graduate of Rowan University and resides in Haddonfield, N.J. with his wife, Jane, and their two children.
WMGK is owned and operated by Greater Philadelphia Radio Inc., a subsidiary of Greater Media Inc., the parent company of 21 AM and FM radio stations in the Boston, Detroit, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.
