Ellen Rubin has been promoted to senior vice president and general counsel of station group owner Greater Media.
Rubin joined Greater Media as general counsel in June 2003. She was promoted to vice president and general counsel in February 2007. Prior to that, she was a corporate attorney with Boston law firm Hill & Barlow.
“Ellen is a brilliant attorney who has been a key player in shaping Greater Media’s future,” said Greater Media Chairman and CEO Peter H. Smyth.
She is currently a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and the Society for Human Resources Management. Rubin is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley’s school of law and Harvard College.
