More than 40 entities, consisting of computer companies, CEA and public interest groups, has asked the Senate Judiciary to hold hearings on a copyright bill. In their letter the groups say the measure would make it easier for manufacturers to be sued for helping consumers violate copyright laws by digital pirating.
