From the Who’s Buying What page: Harris announced the first sales of its HT-HD+ tube-type HD Radio transmitter to Clear Channel stations WCOL(FM) in Columbus, Ohio and KRFX(FM) in Denver.
Harris said the product marks its entry into serving the HD Radio market with high-power tube-type transmitters. The supplier had offered only solid-state transmitters for the high-power market until now. The HT-HD+ is to be rolled out at the upcoming NAB convention. The new product ships in July.
Dan Mettler is regional VP of engineering for Clear Channel Radio.
