Harris Snags Jeff-Pilot Console Order

Jefferson-Pilot Communications is buying eight consoles for five stations in Miami, San Diego, Atlanta and Denver from Harris Corp.
It chose the Legacy and BMXdigital on-air console models. Two of the stations also ordered cabinetry and furniture from Harris. Tom Giglio is corporate vice president of engineering for Jefferson-Pilot.
Jefferson-Pilot Corporation is an insurance and financial services company that also owns 17 radio
stations, all in top 50 markets, as well as three TV stations and a TV production company.
