United Stations Radio Networks and cable network Reality Central are creating a radio show about reality TV. The show will give listeners “an insider’s look at the reality genre,” according to the companies.
The radio package will be branded with the Reality Central name and be syndicated and distributed through United Stations’ affiliated networks, including Launch Radio Network. It will be produced by the cable network’s news and programming production staff and complement Reality Central’s network schedule of entertainment series on reality TV.
The cornerstone of the United Stations package will be a daily Reality Central news update designed to air in drive-times. Additional text to be provided can be incorporated into broadcasts and stations’ Web sites.
