Howard University to be Honored at NAB

Howard University will receive the “Spirit of Broadcasting” award at the All-Industry Opening Keynote on April 18 during NAB2005 in Las Vegas. Howard University President H. Patrick Swygert and alumna and choreographer/actress Debbie Allen will accept the award.
The “Spirit of Broadcasting” award is presented periodically by NAB and recognizes individuals and organizations that have made lasting contributions to the broadcast industry. Howard is being honored for its history of fostering the creative talents and leadership skills of people of color.
