Audemat-Aztec is showing two new lines at IBC2007: the Navigator and the Digiplexer 2/4.
The Navigator modulation analyzer is a laboratory-grade portable test device for FM applications, and is designed for use by broadcasters or transmitters manufacturers.
It has a comprehensive range of tools and functions for the measurement and analysis of an entire FM radio broadcast chain. It also has built-in interfaces for every type of signal.
The analyzer includes user-friendly software and automatically generates reports of the measurements for analysis. It also allows for remote access via IP.
It is possible to use the Navigator as a quality-control reference for a program via the digital AES-EBU output; between the RF input and the digital output, the signal remains fully digital.
The 1-rackunit “all in one” Digiplexer 2/4 combines a digital audio processor with a stereo encoder, RDS encoder, embedded 80 GB hard drive for audio backup and TCP/IP connectivity.
Potential users include small- to medium-sized stations and network broadcasters that preprocess their program in the studio and require a processor and RDS encoder at each transmission site.
