WorldCast Systems has released a new software version for its FM and DAB+ testing and measurement platform.
Software version 1.3 for its Audemat MC6 includes two software modules designed to ease lab workflows, as well as support automated testing and improve equipment calibration.
New for this version is a precise signal generator module, which allows users to generate analog and AES audio as well as MPX signals. These reference signals are suitable for calibration, generation and alignment of broadcast equipment, the company said.
The software update also includes an automatic lab measurement module. The company said it adds tools such as distortion analysis and oscilloscope functions, providing insight into signal behavior. The module also introduces remote control via Telnet, making it suitable for automated test benches, factory acceptance testing and other applications.
The upgrade is available now and is included for users with an active service contract. The new modules are also available for purchase and activation via a license key.
