iHeart Announces in St. Louis, Cincinnati and Des Moines

Riley and Martinez move up in personnel shifts

iHeartMedia has made several new appointments and personnel changes in St. Louis and Cincinnati.

Jules Riley has been named senior vice president of programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis.

As SVP of programming, Riley will oversee all seven stations in St. Louis and will report to iHeartMedia St. Louis Region Senior Vice President of Programming Greg Chance.

Riley has over 15 years of experience in radio, which included roles such as operations manager, brand manager, program director, on-air personality and voice talent. Before she began programming KLOU(FM) and KSD(FM)/93.7 The Bull in April 2017, she served as operations manager/brand manager for KVOO(FM) in Tulsa, Okla. Prior to that, Riley was PD for Bonneville’s WARH(FM) and WMVN in St. Louis. Her background includes stations in Phoenix; Philadelphia; Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and Wichita, Kan.

Josh Martinez has been named program director for the famed WLW(AM) in Cincinnati. He will also be responsible for all aspects of programming for WKFS(FM)/Kiss 107.1. He will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming. Martinez will report to iHeartMedia Cincinnati Senior Vice President of Programming Scott Reinhart.

Martinez most recently served as the assistant PD and music director for WLW. He also served as the PD for stations in Dayton, Ohio, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and as a music director in Des Moines, Iowa. He began his career at KTU(FM) in New York and is a graduate of the CSB School of Broadcasting in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.
