iHeart Names Two SVPs, One VP

Premiere Networks also adds VP of affiliate relations/morning shows

iHeartMedia has named Eddie Haskell as senior vice president of programming for the Fort Collins, Colo., cluster; tapped Michelle “Mickey” Moore to serve as VP of sales for Minneapolis, effective Aug. 13; and chose Danny Bortnick to serve as DC senior vice president of sales. Also, iHeart subsidiary Premiere Networks upped Casey Silcock to the newly created position of VP of affiliate relations/morning shows.

Haskell will report to iHeartMedia Denver Area President Amy Griesheimer. He most recently served as program director for KYGO(FM). Prior to that, he was operations manager for Cumulus Albuquerque and has held various programming roles for KKAT(AM) in Salt Lake City and WYCD9FM0 in the Detroit region.

iHeartMedia Fort Collins owns and operates KPAW(FM/HD2), KSME(FM), KXBG(FM/HD2), KOLT(FM), KOTZ(HD2), KYWY(FM), KCOL(AM) and KIIX(AM).

As Minnesota VP of sales, Moore will report to Western Great Lakes Region Vice President of Sales Greg Alexander.

She joins iHeartMedia Minneapolis from Franklin Covey, where she served as a client partner. She previously worked at iHeartMedia as the general sales manager for KDWB(FM) from 1994 to 2001. Her sales background also includes stints at American Public Media and Minnesota Public Radio, in roles such as her managing director of inclusion and community impact, senior director of organization development and senior director of underwriting sales.

iHeartMedia Minneapolis owns and operates KDWB(FM), KFXN(FM), KQQL(FM/HD2/HD3), KCTZ(FM/HD3), KEEY(FM) and KTLK(AM/FM).

Bortnick will report to Region Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia Washington/ Baltimore Market President Aaron Hyland.

He most recently was vice president of sales for CBS/Entercom DC and has spent the past six years in the cluster. Prior to the Entercom acquisition, Bortnick held the roles of retail sales manager, local sales manager and general sales manager for CBS Radio. Before that, he was director of sales for Salem Media’s New York City stations.

Bortnick began his career 13 years ago as an account executive for Katz Radio in New York and Atlanta.

He then moved to New York’s WINS(AM), where he was an account executive and eventually digital sales manager.

iHeartMedia DC owns and operates WIHT(FM), WASH(FM), WMZQ(FM) and WBIG(FM).

Based in New York, Casey Silcock will continue to report to Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations/Talk and Morning Shows Peter Tripi, as he did in his prior role, director of affiliate relations for six years.

He will continue to oversee affiliate sales, and serve as Premiere’s brand manager for “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” “The Bobby Bones Show,” “Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones, Brooke & Jubal,” “The Johnjay & Rich Show,” “The Kane Show” and “Club Kane.” Silcock came to Premiere from Verve Music Group, a division of Universal Music Group, where he served as head of promotion. He previously held management positions in promotions and marketing at Virgin Records America.
