K-Love has announced the appointment of Debashree “Dee” Sethmajhi as the organization’s chief technology officer.
Effective Sept. 21, Sethmajhi will lead technology strategy across broadcast infrastructure, engineering, digital products, data and cybersecurity for the ministry that includes the K-Love and Air 1 networks, according to a release.
Sethmajhi succeeds Ed Rice, who was K-Love’s chief technology officer up until this past March.
She will report to CEO Tom Stultz.
“Dee brings a rare combination to this role: deep technical capability, an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine heart for ministry,” Stultz said in making the announcement.
Sethmajhi’s appointment comes during a period of technical transformation for the ministry. K-Love completed its migration from satellite to IP-based program delivery earlier this year, a story Radio World will feature later this fall.
In the release, K-Love said it continues to expand its broadcast footprint toward a presence in every top 50 U.S. market. Currently, the ministry serves listeners through approximately 1,100 U.S. signals.
Sethmajhi brings approximately 15 years of experience in technology, including time at Oracle, where she held product strategy roles focused on global cloud platforms and enterprise systems. She later co-founded The Stability App, an AI-powered digital health platform she designed and built as its chief technology officer.
Through Every Nation Churches & Ministries, she has served on mission teams across Africa, Europe and South America, working with university students and local church leaders.
