illbruck Releases Frequency Traps

illbruck inc. has released its SONEX Corner Traps for use in absorbing low-frequency soundwaves. They are designed to create clearer sound in recording studios and other environments.
The triangular traps are made from polyurethane foam and stand 24 inches high and 12 inches deep. They help catch the low-frequency standing waves that acoustic wall panels alone can’t control. The traps provide 12 sabins of absorption below 500 Hz and have fluted edges for better performance. They can be installed with hook and loop fasteners or permanent adhesive.
