Infinity Sues Over Body Solutions’ Ads

Infinity Broadcasting is suing Mark Nutritionals Inc. over a total of about $9 million owed for airing Body Solutions’ ads. Infinity is suing on behalf of its own stations, plus those of Westwood One Radio Networks and subsidiary Metro Networks, according to the San Antonio Express. Radio talk show hosts and DJs did testimonial ads for the weight loss product, claiming it helped them lose weight while they slept.
The paper cites a separate lawsuit for $452,000 filed by Cox Radio last month. A Mark Nutritionals lawyer told the Express that Mark Nutritionals disagreed with Infinity about the exact figure owed.
