Irish Prime Minister to Give Keynote in Dublin

New speakers added for Radiodays Europe 2014

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland Enda Kenny will address Radiodays Europe, which will be held March 23–25 in Dublin. He will talk about the role of radio and its importance for information, community and culture.

Taoiseach Kenny will open the conference, welcoming delegates to Ireland with his speech, according to Radiodays Europe Project Managers Anders Held and Rolf Brandrud.

The organization has recently added more speakers. They include: Newstalk Ireland host Tom Dunne; U.K. TuneIn representatvie Miles Palmer; Trygve Rønningen, CEO and chief editor of Norway’s MTG Radio P4; Jan Westerhof, CEO Radio Programming, NPO, Netherlands; Anastasia Gorokhova, Voice of Russia; Hla Yin Aye, station manager, and Kyaw Swar, producer at Mandalay FM, Myanmar.

Additionally, four female executives, who have not yet been named, will address the question of radio’s future.
