Adobe Systems is licensing iZotope’s multiband compressor technology for integration into the Adobe Audition 2.0 audio recording, mixing and editing application.
The Adobe Multiband Compressor is available as a standard feature in Adobe Audition 2.0. A single-band version of the plug-in is available to customers who register the product.
The compressor offers isotope signal processing and offers four-band dynamics, a multimode limiter and an output gain stage. The interface features a multiband spectral display, level meters and gain reduction meters, giving the user feedback of ongoing processing. Adobe says its processing algorithms are optimized for low-latency, real-time use while parameter automation makes it more flexible.
