Several radio business analysts have been relieved of their posts in recent weeks.
Radio analyst Jonathan Jacoby now is out at Banc of America Securities.
Jacoby is known for his well-researched and strident opinions. He especially opposed the satellite radio merger and often recommended against it to clients.
In a note to clients, he said the change is “due to the nature of the Street.” Hopefully, his “respite” will be short, he added.
