JBL Researcher Receives AES Fellowship

Alexander Voishvillo has been involved in the design of transducers for JBL.

Dr. Alexander Voishvillo, a research engineer at JBL Professional, a division of Harman International, has been awarded an AES Fellowship, according to the company.

“It is an honor and privilege to receive the AES Fellowship — a once-in-a-lifetime event,” Voishvillo said.

Voishvillo has been involved in the design of transducers for JBL. He holds a number of patents and has several pending. He has also written on loudspeaker theory, design and performance. He is a native of Saint Petersburg, Russia, and an active member of the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society Review Board.
