Kimberly Sacks, CBT, has been appointed to the national board of directors of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, SBE President Joe Snelson says.
Sacks fills the unexpired director’s term of Andrea Cummis, CBT, CTO, of Roseland, N.J., who was elected treasurer of the society earlier this year. The term runs through Oct. 8, 2014. The appointment was made by the society’s executive committee.
Sacks works for CBS Radio in Washington, and lives in Hollywood, Md. She has been an SBE member since 2007.
SBE has more than 5,300 members in 114 chapters across the United States, as well as members in 20 other countries.
