A secure private network system for audio distribution will be part of the offerings from Klotz Digital at the upcoming AES convention in Los Angeles.
The new PC-based X4P network provides a secure private network over the Net to distribute audio and multimedia. Content is coded with MPEG?4/AAC algorithms and stored on servers, ready for download from authorized users. Producers can track the distribution chain because the files have a watermark identifying the producer and the receiver at all times.
The company also will show its Vadis D.C. II production mixing console with open architecture; its Vadis 880 audio and media platform; and an eight-fader version of the Paradigm digital audio console.
