Ron Kurtis will retire from Journal Broadcast Group.
The company said Kurtis, its senior vice president and chief financial officer, will retire Dec. 27 after 36 years with the group.
In the announcement, Kurtis expressed pleasure at having helped the company grow “from a Milwaukee-centric organization to a broadcast group with more than forty stations across the country.”
The company has 33 radio and 13 television stations in 12 states (plus one TV LMA).
Vice Chairman and CEO Doug Kiel called Kurtis “an integral member of our leadership team.”
