Trans World Radio recently named Lauren Libby as its new president and CEO.
The Christian international broadcast group made the announcement in late October after a six-month search process to replace David Tucker, who stepped down earlier this year.
Libby is senior vice president and chief operating officer with The Navigators in Colorado Springs, Colo.; he’ll take the new post Dec. 1, as TWR’s fourth president.
Chairman Thomas J. Lowell called him “a man with a passion for serving the Lord … [with] a strong interest in the people who serve in this ministry as well as those who support TWR.”
Libby is also a member of the board of the National Religious Broadcasters, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and Northwestern College, and president and CEO of a charity, New Horizons Foundation. He co-founded Educational Communications of Colorado Springs, which has 15 radio stations and 28 translators.
