Louisville Public Media has promoted Layla George to director of development and Kelly Wilkinson to membership manager for Louisville, Ky.’s WFPL(FM), WUOL(FM) and WFPK(FM), as well as the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting.
These positions help Louisville Public Media grow its mission of community service by strengthening the fiscal stability of the organization through fundraising, increased donor relations and member service, a release said.
George recently served as development officer and Wilkinson was the membership assistant and volunteer coordinator.
Founded in 1996, when Louisville’s three public radio stations came together under one umbrella organization, LPM is an independent, community supported not-for-profit corporation serving the Louisville metropolitan area with its radio stations and its newly established investigative unit.
