Mackie Debuts Dedicated Plug-In/Virtual Controller

The Mackie Designs Control C4 plug-in and virtual instrument controller provides four banks of eight V-Pots each and four displays for access to up to 32 separate software parameters without having to scroll or bank switching. The Control C4 provides an analog-style interface for sophisticated plug-ins and virtual instruments, providing audio engineers, producers and musicians with hands-on controls. Function buttons beneath the displays and knobs let users select the arrangement of those parameters and how they show up on the screen.
The C4, which will be available in the US Q2 and in Europe by the summer and will be supported by MOTU Digital Performer and Emagic Logic Audio. Support from other Mackie Control software partners will follow shortly thereafter. For more information go to www.mackie.com.
