Modern Renaissance man Chuck Woolery has signed a deal with Syndicated Solutions for his own radio show, “The Chuck Woolery Show.” The show will air weeknightly from 7 p.m. to midnight. A “Best of” weekend version will also be available. Program launch is March 30.
Familiar as the host of TV game shows such as “The Dating Game,” “Wheel of Fortune” and “Scrabble” along with becoming a cultural icon as the host of “The Love Connection,” Woolery’s career actually began in radio, at WCMI(AM/FM) in Ashland, Ky.
“During all my years in television, I’ve come to realize that radio is truly the only medium where I can connect one-on-one with the audience,” the company quotes him as saying.
SSI President Bob Carey called him a “major league talent with a winning brand.”
