Carl Marcocci is dead.
The St. Petersburg Times reported the 68-year-old owner of four Tampa Bay radio stations died from an apparent heart attack last week. He was leaving a restaurant in Hernando County when his car crashed through a fence and struck a building next door. His company owns WJQB(FM), WXCV(FM), WINV(AM) and WXOF(FM).
