Wireless communications infrastructure company Radio Frequency Systems has announced the appointment of Jay Martin to the position of broadcast technical sales director for the Americas.
Martin has worked in the past for Shively Labs and Dielectric as well as a TV station in Maine. He is a member of the IEEE, SBE and Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers (AFCCE).
RFS President, Broadcast and Defense Systems Martyn Kemel said: “His engineering background and practical acumen are complimentary skills that allow for high-level system solution development with customers. One of his many assets is his ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical customers.”
In the announcement, RFS stated, “The broadcast industry in the Americas has witnessed tremendous change in recent years, most notably with digital TV (DTV) switchovers, HD Radio and the introduction of Mobile DTV and Mobile Media in a number of markets.”
