Long-time radio exec Matt Mills is retiring in April. He is VP and GM of Greater Media’s Boston-based radio properties, having joined the company five years ago. The cluster includes FM outlets WBOS, WKLB, WMJX, WROR and WTKK. He’ll stay on until a replacement is named and continue to act as an adviser to the company.
He is former senior VP/GM of Clear Channel’s Boston properties; he managed WNCX in Cleveland and was head of Adams Communication’s Radio Division in Tampa for six years. He worked at WHYI(FM) in Miami/Fort Lauderdale in the late ’70s and became GM in 1980 under Metroplex Communications; he also was VP/GM at KEZK in St. Louis.
