From our People News page: Mark Schreiber plans to retire at the end of this year after 37 years in radio software.

He is vice president and general manager of Cornerstone Research.

“I love what I do and will deeply miss not only our longtime clients, but especially my close-knit Cornerstone family,” he said in a press release.

“But our most valuable asset is time, and I’m looking forward to being on my own schedule — and catching more late-night West Coast Dodgers games.”

Prior to Cornerstone Schreiber was general manager of the MusicScan division of Tapscan. Farther back his radio programming background includes work at KOB(AM/FM) in Albuquerque, N.M.

Schreiber said he was Brad Riegel’s first hire when Cornerstone Research began in 2000. He helped establish Cornerstone products such as XTrends analysis software, The Analyst music data and the Hook Exchange service.
