Mercedes-Benz plans to add Sirius Satellite Radio to more than 80% of its product line for 2007 and increase that to more than 90% by 2009.

The automaker says the installation rate growth is more than the 50% originally planned for two years ago.

The automaker plans to offer Sirius as standard equipment on two additional models this year, the S-Class and CLS, to be available later this year. Sirius is now standard in SL-Class and CL-Class model vehicles, and all AMG and 600 model vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz offers Sirius in its vehicles with six months of free service.
