Nokia’s MixRadio music service has announced that it has reached 30 million tracks available in its catalog.
It even singled out the 30 millionth track — “Ma Tegi Hena” by a Lebanese artist, Nancy Ajram.
Nokia VP Entertainment Jyrki Rosenberg said, “It is very telling that the track that takes us through this significant milestone comes from an artist currently No.1 in the Middle East … yet is unknown in large parts of the world.”
Remarking upon MixRadio’s more international offerings, he added, “Gathering a rich and deep catalogue of music is fundamental to being able to offer Nokia MixRadio listeners the widest choice.”
MixRadio is aimed at owners of Nokia’s Lumia Windows-based smartphones but the company is now attempting to entice owners of other company’s phones to try it.
