Online job search site Monster and Infinity Broadcasting confirmed a long-term strategic marketing agreement that includes a comprehensive career services program on 180 Infinity stations. The one-year agreement, for an undisclosed amount, begins in December.
Monster says the on-air and online components of the deal will extend its presence to radio stations in 41 U.S. markets, serving an estimated 70 million weekly listeners and online visitors.
Local jobs with area employers will be promoted in an effort to encourage listeners to take advantage of local opportunities and career tools on Monster. The Infinity stations also will provide customized on-air Monster messaging featuring job listings, and job search success stories will be rewarded with on-air recognition and prizes. Additionally, Monster will highlight tips from career search experts, such as resume writing advice and interview skills.
The agreement also incorporates online elements, such as advertising on Infinity station Web sites, and a co-branded microsite for each station where site visitors can find links to local job listings.
“Our stations will provide Monster with a platform to generate a consistent marketing presence throughout the year and allow us to provide targeted career advice and job opportunities to millions of listeners in a localized and personal format,” said David Goodman, executive vice president of marketing for Infinity.
