No longer do dedicated Boston Celtics basketball fans have to detox during the off-season. Well, not if Entercom’s WEEI(FM) has anything to say.
The sports station has developed “Celtic Summer Cooler,” a Saturday afternoon program, hosted by Sean Grande and Cedric “Cornbread” Maxwell. Grande and Maxwell broadcast Celtic games for WEEI during the season.
“Celtic Summer Cooler” will “provide Celtics fans with the most comprehensive news and analysis of the team, from the draft to the summer league and right up to training camp. Listeners can expect to hear from Celtics front office personnel, players, beat writers and columnists, and national media members from around the league,” according to a release.
