MTV Radio Network is airing three new specials for its listeners on March 22: “Under Construction with Missy Elliott,” “Letting Go with Avril Lavigne” and “Foo Fighters Their Words: One by One.”
The music of Elliott, Lavigne and Foo Fighters fits into MTV Radio Networks’ three formats: Urban/Hip-Hop, Alternative/Rock and CHR/Pop. The hour-long broadcasts feature live performances and personal interviews with the superstars. Westwood One distributes MTV Radio Network, which broadcasts news, music from MTV studios, live MTV events, special programming and simulcast opportunities.
