Murder Suspect Dead on Mt. Wilson

Manhunt conducted over the weekend

Things got interesting on Mt. Wilson over the weekend, with a murder suspect on the loose.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Office warned all residents and others on Wilson to lock their doors and stay inside while its personnel joined with Angeles National Forest units to conduct a search. The mountain is home to a large RF site serving southern California.

In an account carried by the CGC Communicator, the sheriff’s office asked that anyone who saw a person they did not know on Mt. Wilson to call 911.

Late Monday, the CGC Communicator stated it appears the murder suspect died; it carried accounts from the Sierra Madre Patch and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. The sheriff’s department said it was waiting for the county coroner to identify the body.
