CBS Radio named Kevin Murphy as senior VP and market manager of its six stations in Detroit.
He is VP/GM of “Oldies 104.3” WOMC(FM) and also oversees WXYT(AM) and WKRK(FM). “He played a pivotal role in the recent format change of WKRK(FM) to 97.1 The Ticket WXYT(FM), a 24-hour sports station,” CBS stated. “He will continue as vice president and general manager of the two stations.”
Rich Homberg is VP/GM of WWJ(AM); Deb Kenyon was recently announced as the cluster’s director of sales, replacing Murphy. Kenyon also is VP/GM of WYCD(FM) and WVMV(FM).
