NAB, FCC Shut Down

Federal offices in Washington were shut down Tuesday in the wake of the plane crashes in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
Staffers of the National Association of Broadcasters in D.C. were sent home, as were many workers throughout the nation’s capital.
Roads near the Pentagon were closed for emergency personnel. Smoke from the Pentagon crash was visible from the headquarters of IMAS Publishing and Radio World, several miles away in Virginia.
