The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation will honor the Unilever Foundation with its Corporate Leadership Award. The award will be presented June 16 at the 17th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards dinner in Washington.
“The Corporate Leadership Award is given to a nonbroadcast business that exemplifies an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility,” a release explained.
The release said, “The foundation partners with organizations that address a variety of health and social issues. In North America, these include Feeding America, Boys & Girls Club of America, Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon and Food Banks Canada. Abroad, Unilever Foundation provides funding for the World Food Program, Save the Children, UNICEF, PSI and Oxfam.”
