Generation two of the NextRadio FM smartphone app has been released. It’s an update for current users and replaces old version on the Google Play Store for new users.
With the new LiveGuide, users can see all the local stations in their market. The new interface displays station choices by real-time album art or custom schedule content.
A “navigation drawer” places all user options in one place so they’re easy to find, as well as an in-app tutorial showing users how to interact with stations, the developers said.
Emmis says the NextRadio app has passed one million downloads and more than 10,500 FMs have been tuned to from the app.
