Noalmark Buys Two Signals in El Dorado

Seller is Edward Partridge

Pending FCC approval, Noalmark Broadcasting Corp. will soon have two more signals to add to its Arkansas holdings, one FM, one AM, both in El Dorado.

Noalmark is buying KDMS(AM) and KLBQ(FM) from El Dorado Broadcasting Co., which is owned by Edward Partridge.

The purchase price is $600,000 cash. Media Services Group is exclusive broker.

KDMS at 1290 on the AM band is licensed for 2,500 watts day, 106 watts night; it currently airs southern gospel. KLBQ is a C-3 FM station at 98.7 MHz with 14,000 watts at 299 ft. HAAT. It plays country.

Partridge has no other broadcast stations. Noalmark has five other El Dorado licensed stations plus facilities in Magnolia, Waldo and Hampton, Ark.; it also owns seven Hobbs and Roswell, N.M.
