Omnia Audio is now shipping two new processors, the Omnia ONE FM and the Omnia.8X.
The four-band Omnia ONE FM offers a wideband AGC/leveler, four-band AGC and separate four-band limiter section with precision crossover. It also features the Omnia pre-emphasized final limiter/clipper.
Designed for stations generating multiple audio channels, the Omnia.8X is a 2 rackunit multichannel processor able to process as many as eight stereo audio streams simultaneously, including FM, AM, HD Radio and Internet.
It integrates eight discrete three-band stereo Omnia audio processors in a single, networked box. In addition to wideband AGC, look-ahead final limiter, Omnia Bass Management and a full range of pre-sets, the Omnia.8X has a built-in Axia Livewire interface for single-cable audio, control and data connection to IP-Audio networks.
Users can also combine the processor with an Axia Audio Node for standard AES3 or analog I/Os. Networked remote control and configuration is possible via any standard Web browser. Processing is based on Omnia-3 algorithms.
