The radio division of the India Today Group has launched FM stations in seven cities using OMT iMediaTouch radio automation software.

It’s the first major radio group in that country to standardize on iMediaTouch, the supplier said.

OMT said Radio Today Broadcasting Ltd. started stations in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patiala, Amritsar, Shimla and Jodhpur. Dilip Kumar Padhy is senior technical engineer for Radio Today Broadcasting. The radio division, called MEOW FM, is “the only all-women FM radio station in India.”
